Hello friends, today has been an amazing day. I was given the opportunity to preach in a Haitian prison here in St.Marc. A guy on the base here named Phillipson has a prison ministry he does every Wednesday and he let me come with him today. It was incredibly intense. The cells are just a little bigger than a small bedroom in an american house and they cram 40 men in one single cell. Phillipson translated as I preached. What an amazing time. I have an incredible heart for prison ministry and I have no doubt someday I will have my own somewhere.
It is sad our time is running short here in Haiti. We fly out on Friday at 1:30 but because the airport is nearly two hours away we will have to get up early to start our trip. God is doing marvelous work down here and He is EVER present. For the morning we distributed medical supplies to one of the clinics. Break me for what breaks yours......
It is monday afternoon and me, a ywam staff and 2 of the team members from Madison, Wisconsin just finished pouring concrete. IT IS HOT!!!! The showers here are cold but the best thing after a days work.
Yesterday was a really good day. Sundays are everyones day off here on the base so we were kind of spoiled getting here when we did. I spent the morning and afternoon hanging out with 3 of the other staff members. In my quiet time yesterday I came across 1 Corinthians 15:19.....And if our hope in Christ is only for this life, we are more to be pitied than anyone in the world. MORE to be pitied than ANYONE in the world. I think we all to often forget there is an eternity after this life and if we spend only a little while here and a little while there "hoping" in Christ instead of running the whole race we kind of fail. Anyway that verse stuck out to me and I hope it means something to you as well. Church didn't start til 6pm last night. It was amazing! Seeing another culture praise the Lord in their way is worth tears and can bring you to your knees. Our God prevails. In a nation devastated there is more hope than ever. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Hello from Haiti
Hello!!! We made it completely safe to Haiti. All limbs attached. The Haiti International Airport was something else. Mass chaos. A man named Freeman from the base picked us up in Port Au Prince and we had a 2 hour ride to the location of the base in St.Marc. Port Au Prince is somewhat of a mess after the earthquake as it was hit the hardest. St.Marc itself was not affected at all from the earthquake, but thousands of refugees made their way to St.Marc after the earthquake and that is where YWAM comes in. I do not have the ability to put up pictures right now but there are tent cities everywhere between Port Au Prince and St.Marc.
There are 6 semi trailers sitting on the YWAM base property ready to be unloaded. YWAM opened a medical clinic just down the road from the base and also run a school for the Haitians. Today myself and 4 others unloaded one of the semis full of supplies.
I can't begin to explain how eye opening this trip has been and it's really only been a day and a half. I am already FRIED by the sun. It gets incredibly hot here. There's a good chance I might lose 10lbs lol. The main thing to eat is rice and beans. I will do my best to continue blogging. Thank you for your prayers and support. There is a lot of spiritual warfare in the area, especially because Voo-doo is very strong here. Pray against that! Tomorrow a team of 15 joins us from Madison, Wisconsin. Peace and Love Friends!

Haiti.....
Hey everyone. I would like to invite you to join me(kind of) on this journey as I travel to Haiti for a week. We will arrive tomorrow(March 26) in Haiti and return April 2nd. Please pray for this journey. I have a hard time even trying to expect what God is about to do. Thank you for all of your prayer and support. I look forward to sharing this journey.
